Hi:

My name is Cathy and this is my first blog. I'm so excited to finally learn how to blog. So if I sound a little corny at times, please bear with me.

If you're anything like me, I love flowers, hearts, and especially belt buckles!!! Buckles aren't just a piece of metal on a brown or black belt which you put around your waist to keep your pants from falling down. They are the accessory that opens your soul to the world that screams, "I am here, this is who I am!"

I just attended the Accessories Show with my mother in New York and I have to tell you, I did not see anything I wanted to buy for my customers. The buckles that I saw were drab and dreary. No color, no flowers, nothing! And the ones that I thought were half-decent, their prices were off the wall!! My buckles are priced right. In fact, my customers usually buy 2 or 3 buckles, buy the black or brown beltstraps, and off they go. The buckles are so simple to put on the straps too. All you have to do is snap open the belt loop, slide the buckle through, snap shut. Hey, if my own mother can do it, anyone can do it. Mom, that was a compliment.....

Anyway, I can't tell you how many people stopped my mother and I to find out where we got our buckles. We were stopped in Penn Station, the streets of New York, and of course, in the Javits Center. But that's nothing new, we usually sell our buckles and belts right off our bodies. I mean it. We have to take it right off and sell it to them!!! It's a riot. We always have to keep extra belts and buckles with us because we will not come home with the buckle we put on in the morning.

My mother plays bridge at least 5 days a week and these women run to her to see what she has to sell. They buy for themselves, their daughters, daughter-in-laws, granddaughters, girlfriends, etc.. I have yet to find someone who has returned a buckle they received as a gift.

I have buckles for every outfit and every personality. Crystal heart buckles when you feel in love. Pink flowers with pink stones when you feel girly. Skulls/crossbones with any color crystals. Black with crystals for that perfect black pantsuit. And buckles that you can wear everyday with your favorite jeans and t-shirts. And even if you don't like all the glitch, I have buckles for that too..

I will post more pictures of buckles that you will flip over. If there is an outfit you own but you feel something is missing, ask me. I will find you a buckle that will make your outfit POP!
